Dental care in the United States is delivered mostly by private practices: a general or family dentist who handles exams, cleanings, fillings and crowns, and refers out anything that needs a specialist. Group practices and dental clinics put several dentists, hygienists and sometimes specialists under one roof, often with evening and Saturday hours. Most offices ask new patients for a comprehensive exam with X-rays before routine cleanings, which the American Dental Association recommends every six months. Prices are set by each practice, and most accept dental insurance (PPO plans more widely than HMO ones), CareCredit-style financing or an in-house membership plan for people without coverage. Emergency dental services take same-day patients for toothaches, broken teeth and abscesses, usually at a premium.

Hours are published for 6 days a week. Typical hours are 7:30 am–6:30 pm. It is closed on Sunday. Hours in the United States do change around federal holidays and long weekends, so a quick call before a special trip is sensible. You can reach Sandy Springs Dental at (404) 252-7373; calling is usually the quickest way to ask about availability, prices or directions. Atlanta is in Georgia, in the Southeast, where summers are long, hot and humid, winters are mild, and afternoon thunderstorms and the hurricane season from June to November can change plans at short notice. US addresses list the street number and name, then the city, state abbreviation and ZIP code, and Atlanta follows the same pattern; a suite or apartment number such as Ste 200 refers to a unit inside the building. The map link on this page shows the exact spot.

They brightened my day! From check-in to check-out, the front team was cheerful and efficient. My hygienist did a fantastic job cleaning my teeth and being careful of my sensitive spots. Dr. Ajay was personable, thorough and very knowledgeable. I’d never had someone check my glands as part of a dental appointment. I felt very well cared for and will recommend them to others! Thanks for all you do for your patients!

The staff is amazing! I have a special needs adult daughter and they always take great care of her. The doctors and medical assistants are patient and kind. It is difficult to find compassionate medical support for her. Kellie and Michelle made us feel like family. I am so grateful to them!

I have always enjoyed Dr. Stoever and the practice and have been a patient for several years. She is very thorough and so kind. When I went in May I was charged a separate $24 Consumables fee even though I have dental insurance. When I inquired about the fee, I was told it covers "whatever they use to clean your teeth". I find this ridiculous to pay when it should be considered as cost of doing business by the practice. There was no communication about it other than a sign at the front desk outlining the charge. I've asked a few other dental practices in the area and this is not a standard practice. This leaves a very unfortunate taste in my mouth. My suggestion would be to either rescind the fee OR send a communication to your patients explaining the fee, why you need to charge it so they know and understand in advance what they are paying for and how that ties to the care they receive.

I’m so glad I found this office! My previous dental offices were great with my cleanings but it felt like there was always something they were trying to sell me. The dentist changed every year and I didn’t feel like I was getting proper care. Now that I’ve switched to Sandy Springs Dental, my teeth look and feel great. I had no clue that dental technology had come so far. The staff and hygienists are amazing. I leave every appointment feeling well informed about my dental health.

I had an absolutely wonderful experience at Sandy Springs Dental! From the moment I walked in, the front office staff made me feel welcomed and valued. They were professional, attentive, and incredibly efficient, making the entire check-in process smooth and stress-free. The level of service throughout my visit was truly outstanding. Everyone on the team was friendly, patient, and genuinely cared about my comfort. It’s clear that they go above and beyond to create a positive experience for their patients. Dr. Stoever is simply amazing! She is knowledgeable, thorough, and takes the time to explain everything in a way that makes you feel confident and at ease. Her attention to detail and compassionate approach really set her apart. If you’re looking for a dental office that combines excellent care with a warm, welcoming atmosphere, I highly recommend Sandy Springs Dental!
